Prayers

 

Prayer is an important part of our life here at St Peter’s. It’s our way of connecting with God, sharing our concerns, asking for his help, and listening; all based on the depth of our relationship with Him.

 

Payer is not a formula; it’s a conversation with God. As we pray, God listens and responds to us. Sometimes He wants us to pray for something different, sometimes He asks us to wait, but He always hears us.

 

Once a month, as part of our 10:00 am service, we invite people to come for prayer for healing  (in the Lady Chapel), and we’ve seen God respond  in a very special way to our prayers.

 

If you’d like prayer for yourself or for someone else, you can contact our Rector, or drop a note into one of the Churches Together prayer boxes around the village (e.g. In the Ash Vale Health Centre)
